THAWdiary 1.2
THAWdiary is a monthly calendar with a very clear interface. The application’s only window contains a list of every day and an accompanying one-line comment for each one. The days can also be marked with a red flag independently.
Because of this very small feature set, the calendar is well suited for persons without a busy schedule. However, if you could need a secretary just to fill in all your appointments, you’re probably better off with another product like iCal.
THAWdiary stores all of its data inside the preferences file. This file is named “THAWdiary Preferences” and is located in the Library/Preferences folder. You are encouraged to include this file in your regular backup schedule.

Version History
- Version 1.2
- Many major bugs in FileTMPLlib were causing fuzzy behaviour in version 1.1.1; fixed.
- We are now saving window size and position as well as the selected day in the preferences.
- The application now is aware of date changes (e. g. when it is open at midnight).
- New “Clear old Entries” menu command removes all data older than one year.
- It is now possible to switch to the adjacent months by means of new menu commands and a new LittleArrows widget.
- Added menu command for going to and selecting today’s day.
- Added menu command for marking / unmarking the selected day.
- Stole an icon from Apple’s website, but it is not really well suited; there is still much room for improvements.
- Minor changes.
- There is no changelog available for earlier versions.
Future Plans
- More display variations (e. g. graphical month overview as a table).
